On-screen instructions 2. Online help 3. Calling the Help Desk 1.2.1 On-screen instructions Sometimes, the help you need is already on the screen in front of you. If you do not see instructions on your screen, try scrolling up or down to see whether the instructions are just out of sight. Tip: in the Main Menu, click on the more links for additional information and instructions relating to menu items. 1.2.2 Online help This manual can be read online. Clicking on the Help link on EMS WR's menu bar opens the manual as an HTML document (i.e. in a format that is readable in a web browser, with internal links that you can click on to move around the document). Note: if you are unfamiliar with the EMS WR toolbar, see EMS WR user interface. 1.2.3 Calling the Help Desk Contact the EMS Help Desk when on-screen and online help do not provide you with the information you need. phone: (250) 356-1924 e-mail: emshelp@gems5.gov.bc.ca Before you call... Before calling the Help Desk for assistance: If possible, try to reproduce the problem (this helps determine whether the problem is isolated). Note the exact sequence of events that led to the problem, and any error messages you encountered.
