Columbia Field Sampling Manual — For Continuous Monitoring
and the Collection of Air, Air-Emission, Water, Wastewater, Soil,
Sediment and Biological Samples This manual defines the general sampling procedures, protocols and equipment that permittees are normally expected to use when carrying out monitoring required by the Ministry of Environment. This manual, superceding the 2005 version, is by the Ministry of Environment in cooperation with the Technical Subcommittee of the B.C. Laboratory Environmental Quality Assurance Advisory Committee. The BCELQAAC and the Technical Subcommittee are government-industry, partnership-based advisory committees. They were formed to promote technical excellence in government, industry and private environmental laboratories — as well as for related environmental monitoring and sampling activities in British Columbia. The Technical Subcommittee functions as a technical advisory committee to the B.C.
