This park can be found on the banks of Boundary Creek
just west of Greenwood. In the creek are small rainbow
or brook trout that may reward the patient angler.
Slag heap and crumbling stack nearby mark the site of
the B.C. Copper Company smelter that once employed 400
men during its years of operation from 1901 to 1918.

This
park offers 18 campsites, one of which is a
double.
All of the sites are first-come, first-served.
If no staff are present, campers can self-register
and put their fee payment in the self-registration
vault. There is a single locked gate that is
closed
during the off-season, Oct 16-April 14. There is
camping without services from Sept 18 to the
first snowfall.
Most sites along the river are small and surrounded
by shrubs and well spaced for privacy though
not
suitable for large RVs. A variety of tree species
is present including immature Ponderosa pine,
cottonwood,
lodgepole pine, Douglas fir and spruce which give
the sites some shade. There are the closest
store
is in Greenwood, 4km east of the park. There is
no payphone in the park.

While campfires are allowed and campfire rings are provided at each campsite, we encourage visitors to conserve wood and protect the environment by minimizing the use of fire and using campstoves instead. Firewood can be purchased in the park or you may bring your own wood.Fees for firewood are set locally and may vary from park to park. Limited burning hours or campfire bans may be implemented. To preserve vegetation and ground cover, please don't gather firewood from the area around your campsite or elsewhere in the park (this is a ticketable offence under the Park Act). Dead wood is an important habitat element for many plants and animals and it adds organic matter to the soil.
