One
hiking trail leads from the parking lot to the viewpoint.
This trail is approx 1.5 km one way; average
walking time 25 minutes. The viewpoint at the end of
the trail offers spectacular views of Baynes Sound
and the Chrome Island Lighthouse. Seals, sea lions,
Bald eagles, osprey and a variety of seabirds can also
be spotted in this area.
For
your own safety and the preservation of the park,
obey posted signs and keep to designated trails.
Shortcutting trails destroys plant life and soil
structure. Please
use caution around cliff areas along the trail.

There are no opportunities for canoeing or kayaking
in this park, however paddlers can easily explore the
waters around Boyle Point, Chrome Island, and Denman
and Hornby Islands.

boat launch is located approximately 1.5 km north at
Bill Mee Park on East Road on Denman Island. From the
boat launch, boaters and paddlers easily can explore
the area around Boyle Point, Chrome Island, and Denman
and Hornby Islands.

are no opportunities for fishing in this park. Anyone
fishing or angling in British Columbia must have an
appropriate
licence.

Cycling is permitted on roadways only. A bike rack
is located at the parking lot. Bicycle helmets are
mandatory in British Columbia.

Pets/domestic
animals must be on a leash and under control at all times. You are responsible
for their behaviour and must dispose of their excrement.
Backcountry areas are not suitable for dogs or
other pets due to wildlife issues and the potential
for problems with bears.

viewpoint is located approximately 1.5 km from the parking lot at the end
of the trail at Boyle Point. Visitors will be rewarded with spectacular
views of Baynes Sound and the Chrome Island Lighthouse. From here, it is
also possible to see seals and sea lions, Bald eagles, osprey and a variety
of seabirds.
