Grainger Creek Trail

Time: 4 to 5 hours

Start of Trail: junction of Grainger Creek and Skaist River (park vehicle at the Cayuse Flats parking lot)

In order to reach the Grainger Creek trailhead one must first hike a portion of the Hope Pass Trail. From the Cayuse Flats parking lot one follows the Skaist River in a northerly direction for 6km. where the Skaist River crosses Grainger Creek. From this junction the Grainger Creek trail swings east up the valley climbing steadily for 11 km to the western end of Nicomen Lake. A camping area is located at the northern end of the lake (11.5 km).

This trail can also be reached by hiking the Heather Trail to Nicomen Lake.
