Park Info:

Walsh Cove Provincial Park is located west of Gorges Islands, on the east side of West Redonda Island. This area provides a safe and scenic anchorage and has opportunities for diving, kayaking, swimming and fishing.

There are no facilities at this park and no development of this park is planned according to the 1993 Management Plan.

Park Size: 39 hectares of upland and 46 hectares of foreshore (85 hectares total)

	No day-use or picnic facilities.
	There are no wheelchair accessible facilities at this park.
	Bring your own drinking water as potable water is not available in the park.

	No sani-station/dump facilities.
	Campfires are not permitted.
	There are no electrical hook-ups in this park.
	There are no regularly scheduled interpretive programs at this park.
	There are no developed trails at this park; however, visitors can come ashore, and stretch their legs with a walk along the shoreline. For your own safety and the preservation of the park, obey posted signs and keep to designated trails. Shortcutting trails destroys plant life and soil structure.
	This park does not have a playground.
	Cold ocean swimming is available. There is no designated swimming area and there are NO LIFEGUARDS on duty at provincial parks.
	There are opportunities for canoeing or kayaking in this park. The park is accessible by kayak, there are no developed campsites available. Kayakers should use no trace camping practices.
	This park does not have a boat launch.
	There is marine saltwater fishing for Rock fish, Lingcod and Salmon. Anyone fishing or angling in British Columbia must have an appropriate licence.
	Cycling is not permitted.
	No horseback riding.
	Pets/domestic animals must be on a leash at all times and are not allowed in beach areas or park buildings. You are responsible for their behaviour and must dispose of their excrement. Backcountry areas are not suitable for dogs or other pets due to wildlife issues and the potential for problems with bears. Domestic animals must be on a leash at all times.
	There are no wildlife viewing platforms; however, there are excellent coastal marine viewscapes throughout the park.
	No winter recreation opportunities.
	No SCUBA diving or snorkelling opportunities.
	No windsurfing opportunities.
	No waterskiing opportunities.
	No hunting in the park.
	No climbing or rock climbing opportunities.
	No spelunking or caving opportunities.
	No cabins, yurts or lodges for public use.
