Location:
Weewanie Hot Springs Park is located roughly 38 km south of Kitimat on the east side of Devestation Channel. It can be found on chart 3743 (Douglas Channel). Access is by boat only.

backcountry or walk-in camping is allowed, but no
facilities are provided. There is a flat grassy area for camping near the hot springs. Two picnic tables are provided.
There is Winter Camping in the park. The park is accessible year round.

park has a day-use/picnic area. There is a cement bathhouse for soaking in the water from the hotsprings.

One pit toilet is located 50 meters uphill from the hotsprings bathhouse.

Please
Conserve Firewood. Campfires are permitted, but there is no firewood available. Dead wood is an important habitat element for many plants and animals and it adds organic matter to the soil, please do not use it for firewood. We encourage visitors to conserve wood and protect the environment by minimizing the use of campfires and using camp stoves instead. Limited burning hours or campfire bans may be implemented.

at this park.

A 300 meter trail leads from a beach at the head of the small cove, past the camping area and on to the bathhouse and hotsprings. For
your own safety and the preservation of the park,
obey posted signs and keep to designated trails.
Shortcutting trails destroys plant life and soil
structure.

Swimming is possible in the ocean, but the water is cold all season long. There are no lifeguards on duty at provincial parks.

Adventurous and experienced kayakers may enjoy exploring this region.

The area surrounding the park is popular for fishing, though the park itself is not a fishing destination. Anyone fishing or angling
in British Columbia must have an appropriate
