Jerry's Rangers
BC Parks started Jerry's Rangers in 1984 to foster in children 'an understanding of conservation issues and knowledge of the natural and cultural environment as they relate to the provincial park system.'
BC Parks are very special places for kids (and grown-ups too). BC Parks
has a special set of rules that Jerry's Rangers promise to follow whenever
they are in a park.
Jerry's Rangers promise:
- To help keep their park clean
- Not to bother other visitors
- Not to be too noisy
- To obey all safety rules
- Not to pick plants or hurt animals
- To keep pets on leashes
- To never play with fire
- To always tell someone where they are going and when they will return
- Not to take anything that belongs to the park
- To have a great time in BC Park
