BC Parks Student Design Competition

BC Parks' iconic picnic tables have gone unchanged for more than 50 years. The picnic tables have become well-known, and are being used as a standard in all B.C. provincial parks. As an exciting BC 150 challenge, BC Parks is giving post-secondary students a great opportunity to show off their skills by designing a new picnic table that will be considered for use throughout B.C.'s provincial parks.

The winning designer will receive a prize of $3,000, and may have his or her design replace the picnic table used for BC Parks.
