BC Parks has many successful partnerships, including corporate partners, volunteers, recreation associations and conservation organizations.

Together with the Robert Bateman Get to Know Program and the British Columbia Conservation Foundation, BC Parks offers a set of four commemorative prints to support education within and about parks.

 

Georush 2008! This event was promoted in partnership with the British Columbia Geocaching Association (BCGA).  Georush 2008 is an exciting geocaching adventure taking place within BC Parks.

 

Micalendar and BC Parks created the opportunity for the public to go online and custom-build their own wall and/or desk calendar using photos of BC Parks.

 

Some of our conservation partners:

	The Nature Trust of British Columbia is a leading non-profit land conservation organization dedicated to conserving British Columbia’s biological diversity through securement and management of ecologically significant lands.
	Friends of Ecological Reserves (FER), is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization, with a 30-year history of stewardship and conservation linked to ecological reserves (ERs) in B.C. Their mission is to support the role of ERs and ER Wardens in furthering our understanding of natural processes and human interactions in these specially recognized ecosystems.
	Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), a national, private, non-profit organization, is Canada’s leading wetland conservation organization. DUC works to help conserve wetlands and their associated habitat for waterfowl, other wildlife and people.

Canada's Parks Day is an annual event held all across Canada.  Click here to learn more.

One of the many activities related to this event is our "Kid's Art Contest." BC Parks' partners help us make this and other events a yearly success story. 

This year, BC Parks hosted the "iParks Youth Webcast Competition." Youth were challenged to create short video webcasts that best answered the question “How do you enjoy B.C.’s parks?”  Click here to view the winning entries.
