Georush - an event held in partnership with BC Geocaching Association

Georush 2008! This event was promoted in partnership with the British Columbia Geocaching Association (BCGA).  Georush 2008 is an exciting geocaching adventure taking place within BC Parks.

Friends of Ecological Reserves logo
Friends of Ecological Reserves (FER), is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization, with a 30-year history of stewardship and conservation linked to ecological reserves (ERs) in B.C. Their mission is to support the role of ERs and ER Wardens in furthering our understanding of natural processes and human interactions in these specially recognized ecosystems.

Canada's Parks Day is an annual event held all across Canada.  Click here to learn more.

One of the many activities related to this event is our "Kid's Art Contest." BC Parks' partners help us make this and other events a yearly success story. 

This year, BC Parks hosted the "iParks Youth Webcast Competition." Youth were challenged to create short video webcasts that best answered the question “How do you enjoy B.C.’s parks?”  Click here to view the winning entries.
