- About BC Parks
If you’ve ever been to a B.C. park you have already encountered something very special. From breathtaking vistas and crystal clear lakes, to lush old growth forests and wide open grasslands, our provincial parks offer many unique and unequalled experiences. Every year approximately 19 million people visit the 340 campgrounds, 11,000 campsites and 6,000km of trails as part of a BC Parks experience.
BC Parks has a long and dynamic history of working with partners to maintain and enhance our parks. The BC Parks Partnership Program is designed to provide opportunities for individual citizens, community groups, non-government agencies and private corporations to work with BC Parks on mutually beneficial projects.
Whether you, or your group, are interested in supporting a particular park, a specific project, or a program we would like to work with you. BC Parks offers a host of ways to support and protect the park system.
BC Parks and Protected Areas invites you to find a program that fits you - participate in special events such as Parks Day or the Parks Centennial Celebration, support BC Parks’ proud legacy of wilderness protection, or remember a special person with a commemorative bench. Funds raised through the program go directly back to the parks.
We look forward to your becoming BC Parks Partner!
