100 for 100 Park Bench Challenge

100 Park Benches for 100 Years of BC Parks
Celebrating BC Parks’ Legacy – and yours.

In June 2011, BC Parks launched the 100 for 100 Park Bench Challenge. We challenged community groups, businesses, individuals and families to come together and sponsor 100 park benches, celebrating 100 years of BC Parks.

We are excited to announce that the challenge has been met!

Thanks to all of the generous individuals, families and businesses from across BC, Canada and the world, who have sponsored one of these limited-edition centennial park benches. Over the past year we have heard many heart-warming stories about why people decided to sponsor a bench. We thought we would share a few of these stories with you.

This centennial park bench design (made of recycled plastic) is no longer available, but if you are interested in sponsoring a park bench please visit our Commemorative Gifting webpage where a Classic Park Bench (made of western red cedar) may
be sponsored.
