The results from Cape Scott/Scott Islands Management Plan Workshops (pdf 65K) held in Vancouver, Victoria, Courtenay and Port Hardy in October 1998 are available in PDF format

In Vancouver, Victoria and Courtenay, workshop participants were asked to do two tasks. The first was to develop a vision for the Nahwitti Shushartie addition to Cape Scott Park. The second was to select a series of options that best reflected their vision for a North Coast Trail.
These options were grouped under experience and opportunities for hiking, overnighting and access.
- Key phrases of the vision statement that were developed in each location;
- Details that were used to develop those key phases;
- Flipchart notes; and
- Summary of options for development for all locations.
In Port Hardy, workshop participants were asked to consider the experience and opportunities for hiking, overnight, and access for the North Coast Trail. Attached are the group comments and a summary of the larger discussion.
