Strathcona Provincial Park Management Plan Review
The Ministry of Environment (BC Parks) will
host a series of Open Houses and Public Meetings to review
the Strathcona Provincial Park Management Plan to clarify and
confirm areas of the park appropriate for horse use including
the lower Bedwell River road corridor/trail. For details about
when and where the Open Houses will take place, click here.
The 1993 Master Plan and the 2001 Master Plan Amendment are
companion documents that provide management direction for Strathcona
Provincial Park now and into the future. The original master
plan was prepared by an advisory committee to guide park management.
The amendment identifies new, revised or additional directions
from the existing plan, or confirms the directions given in
that plan. The Amendment is to be used in conjunction with
the Master Plan and is organized to follow the format of that
plan. A revised zoning map is also available.
