participate in one of the unique and fun-filled celebration activities taking place in parks across the province.

Calling all Kids- Show us your Art!

As a part of the 2007 Canada's Parks Day celebration, BC Parks is organizing the 3rd annual Kid’s Art Contest. Children are invited to draw, paint or colour a poster that will encourage friends and family to visit their favourite park OR create a poster that will encourage park visitors to take care of B.C.’s parks. Join BC Parks Ranger Andrea Heinrichs for a beautiful guided hike to the splendid view of Stuart Lake from the top of Mount Pope. Bring good foot wear, lunch, water, bug spray as the hike is 12km, strenous but fun! Don't forget your camera.

For families there will be interactive nature BINGO and Kid's Art Contest Station at the park.
