Recreation Trails Strategy for British Columbia

BC Parks contain some of the most beautiful and most varied protected areas in North America. Rainforests, glaciers, tidal pools, plains and deserts; all form part of this mosaic. Our stewardship role encourages visitor appreciation of these special places. Our trails, camping facilities, day use areas, interpretation facilities, canoe circuits, back country huts and boating facilities offer access to visitors of all ages and skills.

We constantly seek the opinions of our visitors through surveys, focus groups and simply chatting to them in the parks. This contact ensures our continued adherence to the highest levels of customer service. The provision of recreational opportunities is a central mandate of BC Parks.

Our Park Finder allows you to access parks by Name or by Geographic Location. What You Should Know Before You Go will also assist you in your pre-trip planning.

You can make Reservations for campsites, group campsites, group picnic areas and the Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit. Recreation Information provides updates on provincial park fees.
