Reservation Rules

Reservations can be made up to three (3) months in advance of your arrival date.

There is a limit of one campsite reservations per transaction, unless you are booking a double campsite for the same date and length of stay.

Full pre-payment of all camping fees is required.

The maximum stay is fourteen (14) nights in a calendar year. Except for Haynes Point Provincial Park, where the maximum stay is seven (7) nights in a calendar year.

Guaranteed check-in time is 1 PM. Checkout time is 11 AM.

Refunds are not given for an eviction, long weekend, or vacating your campsite early due to inclement weather.

Statutory Holiday Weekends

If you book a campsite on one of B.C.’s statutory holiday weekends, you are required to reserve a designated minimum of three nights. All fees are non-refundable once on site. The three-day holiday weekends for 2011 are:

  • Easter Weekend (reserve arrival date Friday April 22 - departing Monday April 25)
  • Victoria Day (reserve arrival date Friday May 20 - departing Monday May 23)
  • Canada Day (reserve arrival date Thursday June 30 - departing Sunday July 3)
  • BC Day (reserve arrival date Friday July 29  - departing Monday August 1)
  • Labour Day (reserve arrival date Friday September 2nd - departing Monday September 5th)

Camping Party

In BC Parks, a camping party is defined as: 1– 4 persons 16 years of age or older & up to a maximum of 8 persons including children 15 years of age and younger; one camping party per site, unless otherwise authorized in the park.

Camping permit holders are responsible for the actions of all camping party members and any visitors to their campsite.

Changing or Cancelling Reservations

The costs of changing or cancelling a reservation vary, depending on how the original reservation was made (website or call center) and how late the change or cancellation is made.

Reservation and Call Centre Charges

Reservation charges listed are in addition to campsite fees, and other park-user fees.

Reservation Charge (non-refundable)

$6.00 per night, to a maximum of $18.00 plus taxes, for three or more nights per campsite. $11.00 for the first night, to a maximum of $23.00 plus taxes ($6.00 per night, to a maximum of $18.00 reservation charge + $5.00 call center charge) per campsite.

All reservation charges apply fully to Seniors and Persons with Disabilities.
