- About BC Parks
The Park Amendment Acts of 1995 and 1997 stipulated that grazing and hay cutting would continue to be permitted in new parks designated by these Acts, where tenures were in good standing at the time of designation. The Acts also directed that these tenures would be managed and administered under the Range Act and the Forest Practices Code of BC Act. The following Protocol Agreement has been developed to assist staff of the Ministry of Forests and BC Parks by defining the role that each agency will play in the management of these parks.
