Administrative Officer – Facilities Project Coordinator
The Ministry of Environment's Facilities Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of facilities including accommodation, vehicles, telecommunications and security. The Facilities Project Coordinator provides one stop shopping services to the organization, and is often called upon to plan, organize and deliver special projects under extremely tight deadlines. The Facilities Project Coordinator's job has a primary focus on managing ministry space requirements, office renovations and relocations.
As a Facilities Project Coordinator, you generally must possess a degree or diploma in business or public administration and have a few years of progressively responsible experience in one or more fields of space planning, design, construction and project management. In addition to the education and experience requirements you should be comfortable working under strict time constraints, be comfortable preparing a facility budget, and be able to operate a motor vehicle to visit ministry work locations and facilities. Strong organizational, computer, and problem solving skills are essential.
