- Responsible
for the data warehouse architecture.
- Manage the data
warehouse creation processes and techniques.
- Responsible
for the data transformations and loading functions.
- Management of
data loading priorities.
- Monitoring warehouse
usage and performance.
- Performance
tuning and management of data replication processes.
- Build and maintain
data registries for inventory and cadastral data.
- Work with the
inventory and cadastral programs to develop data standards for the
warehouse and corporate data models for the operational databases.
Data
Administration Services
- Responsible
for corporate data and data management standards for spatial and attribute
data;
- Responsible
for data modeling, data model QA and the data warehouse architecture;
- Build and maintain
a meta data repository infrastructure for resource inventory and registry
data;
- Coordinating
standards and tools for ongoing management of client data resources
(such as corporate and inter-ministry data management standards, the
Data Warehouse, the CASE repository) in a manner that ensures accuracy,
integrity, security, availability and quality of spatial, attribute,
textual and image data; and
- Provide data
modelling support and quality assurance guidelines.
