About the Information Management Branch

Our Mission: To provide strategic planning, application development and support services for systems initiatives and to provide a sustainable IM/IT infrastructure for application systems and data.

Who Are We: The Information Management Branch ( IMB) is a team comprised of Information Management and Information Technology professionals skilled in strategic systems planning, systems development, data administration, IM/IT infrastructure management and technical systems architectures. The Information Management Branch is located in Victoria, BC with staff located in Kamloops, BC and consolidates systems professionals (e.g. Information Management Strategists, Business Analysts, Technical Architects, Data & Database Administrators, Web and Spatial Specialists).

IMB falls within the Corporate Services Division providing services to the Ministry of Agriculture and Lands, and the Ministry of Environment, inlcuding the Environmental Assessment Office.
