Change Management

As people become more familiar with the various provincial ecosystem mapping related standards, data management applications and contracting procedures, they may find areas where change would be beneficial. Requests for change management can be submitted to the following email address: eco_mail@victoria1.gov.bc.ca

All submissions must include the following information:
• First and Last Name,
• Company Name,
• Telephone Number,
• A description of the standard(s) involved, and
• A detailed description of the request being made.

Each submission will be first reviewed by an appropriate technical expert and any requests for change that potentially affect a current standard will be reviewed by a technical working group and submitted to the Resources Information Standards Committee (RISC) for approval. All decisions made regarding the implementation of changes will be made available at scheduled intervals throughout the year.
