Pollutant Objective

An Air Quality Objective is the provincial acceptable limit for the following pollutant concentrations:

  • PM2.5 (24hr) = 25 µg/m3
  • PM10 (24hr) = 50 µg/m3
  • O3 (8hr) = 63 ppb
  • NO2 = 100 ppb
  • SO2 = 70 ppb
  • TRS = 5 ppb

Pollutant objectives are highlighted by a red bar on the graph. Read more about the province's Air Quality Objectives and Standards.
