Climate Change Impacts
Global climate change affects regional climate, and it manifests differently from one region to another. This section describes how the climate is changing in B.C. and in Canada. It also describes how these changes in climate affect physical systems (e.g. the timing and volume of river flows) and biological systems (e.g., the date that buds or leaves emerge). Such changes in natural systems can have significant impacts on our society and economy.
