The Government of Canada’s Fourth National Report on Climate Change (4NR)
2006 (PDF/2 MB/318 pages)

Natural Resources Canada – Climate Change Impacts and Adaptations Directorate (CCIAD)

The CCIAD works to increase Canada's resilience to climate change by raising awareness and understanding, as well as by facilitating climate change adaptation decision-making across the country.

Natural Resources Canada – Reducing Canada’s Vulnerability to Climate Change Program

The Reducing Canada's Vulnerability to Climate Change Program (RCVCC) supported research aimed at improved understanding of the vulnerability of Canada's landscape and coastal areas, infrastructure, and communities to climate change.

Environment Canada –Adaptation and Impacts Research Division (AIRD)

The primary goal of AIRD (formerly Adaptation and Impacts Research Group) is to provide information to Canadian decision and policy makers on the environmental, social and economic impacts of climate change, and on viable adaptation measures.  AIRD researchers are located at several universities across Canada, including the University of British Columbia (UBC).

Health Canada – Climate Change and Health Office

Established in 1998, the Climate Change and Health Office works to: foster the development of national policies for assessing, managing and communicating the health risks associated with a changing climate; lead development of the human health and well-being research agenda on climate change; and integrate health considerations into research, educational activities, and health policies related to climate change.
