Waste Reduction

The ministry has been tracking progress in reducing the amount of municipal solid waste (MSW) requiring disposal by means of annual MSW Tracking Reports, containing data supplied by regional districts. The 2001 /2002 report was funded in part by contributions from 23 of 27 regional districts. Links to the latest four of these reports are provided below:
