This code sets standards and other requirements for discharges of produced water from coalbed gas operations.
- Oil and Gas Waste Regulation
This regulation applies to small discharges from the oil and gas industry's drilling and production activities. The regulation authorizes some very small discharges unconditionally and sets out discharge and registration requirements for others. Permits or approvals are still required for large facilities.
- Petroleum Storage and Distribution Facilities Storm Water Regulation (Queen's Printer)
This regulation sets conditions for exempting storm water discharges from bulk petroleum storage facilities from the Waste Management Act. Oil and grease content in storm water effluent and requirements regarding the operations and maintenance of treatment facilities are specified.
