Certification & Study Materials Forms & Fees

The study materials for most certification categories include a core manual which is the same for several categories, plus category specific booklets. The booklets contain pest management information, plus a study guide and practice exam for the category. Make sure that you obtain all the items listed for a category.

If you require certification in more than one category, you do not need to order duplicate materials. You only need one copy of an item used for several categories, unless you are ordering for several people.

If you already have some of the study materials, check that they are current editions by calling the Distribution Center-Victoria (1-800-282-7955 or (250) 952-4460). If they are current, you can order just the items that you are missing.

Applications to write the certification examination are enclosed with every order.

Certification Examinations

Candidates can arrange to write the B.C. certification exam at many government agents' offices and some colleges across B.C., and also outside B.C., as listed in the exam instructions.

The fee for writing an examination is $90, to be sent with the exam application, not when ordering study materials.
