Tree-Marking Paint Association

The Tree-Marking Paint Association (TSA) program is the smallest of the stewardship agencies that operate in British Columbia, focusing only on the management of commercial aerosol products sold to the forestry and survey industrial sectors. It ensures a safe and convenient method to manage unwanted aerosol paints.

Within the Tree-Marking Paint Association, Nelson Paint Company of Canada Limited, Aervoe Industries Limited and Isico Paint Company Limited produce commercial aerosol products. The products within the TSA are restricted to two basic commercial aerosol paints:

• tree paint (used primarily by the forest industry)
• upside-down paint (used primarily by the survey industry and minimal amounts used by the mining industry)
