The Trend Graph allows you to see how the level of a single parameter has changed over time at a single monitoring location. You can choose to graph all historical samples for a parameter, or you can specify a time period.
[Graph Disabled]
When you click on the image of the Trend Graph on the main menu, the Trend Graph - Criteria page opens:

This table explains page items:
| Item Text | Item Type | Description | Notes |
| main menu | button | returns you to the Main Menu | You will lose any entered criteria |
| ... (multi selection symbol) | link — multiple items | opens multi selection list related to that field | For details, see Multi selection lists |
| EMS ID | field | alphanumeric identifier for an EMS monitoring location | |
| Graphing Y-Axis - Linear | radio button | instructs EMS WR to produce a Y-axis linear trend graph | |
| Graphing Y-Axis - Logarithmic | radio button | instructs EMS WR to produce a Y-axis logarithmic trend graph | |
| Parameter For Graphing | drop-down list | restricts graph to this parameter over time | |
| Time Period - Show The Entire History Of The Selected Parameter | radio button | graphs all results for the selected parameter | default |
| Time Period - Show The Selected Parameter For A Specific Date Range | radio button | graphs results for selected parameter for the date period entered | |
| (Time Period - Date Specified) From | field | restricts graph to results with a sample collection start date on or after this date | Use this field to specify start date when selecting by date range |
| (Time Period - Date Specified) To | field | restricts graph to results with a sample collection start date on or before this date | Use this field to specify end date when selecting by date range |
| graph | button | initiates a search for the selected parameter ensuring that there is at least one result that matches the selection criteria | This can take several minutes. Click the graph button only once.
If there are no results that match the selection criteria, EMS WR displays an error message below the menu bar. |
The Exceedance Graph enables you to determine, at a glance, whether a water sample from a single location complies with the Canadian Drinking Water Guidelines (CDWG).
Exceedance Graph - Criteria Page
When you click on the image of the Exceedance Graph on the main menu, the Exceedance Graph - Criteria page opens:

This page allows you to select the parameter results you want to graph and produces a graph for those parameter results.
