2.2 How EMS WR Works

EMS WR is a tool you can use to find information stored in the EMS database. You can access and operate this tool through a web browser such as Internet Explorer. Once you enter the EMS WR system, you can retrieve information in three formats:

  • customized reports
  • predefined reports
  • graphs

Specifically, EMS WR allows you to:

  • Download customized reports from the EMS database to your computer as .csv (comma-separated values) files. You can open these files with programs such as Microsoft Excel and then manipulate and analyse your data.
  • Download the predefined reports as Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files for viewing and printing.
  • View graphs within your internet browser's window, and then print them using the browser.
