1. Getting Started

Overview

Welcome to the Environmental Monitoring System - Web Reporting (EMS WR). EMS WR allows you to find and retrieve information stored in the Environmental Monitoring System (EMS). EMS is the province's electronic database for environmental monitoring data. EMS WR is an enhancement to EMS that provides authorized users with internet-based access to EMS data.

This manual is a guide to EMS WR version 1.1. If you are new to EMS WR, read the Getting Started section first. However, even intermediate users already familiar with the existing EMS application might benefit from reading this section for information and tips concerning EMS WR.
