Wildfire Response and Recovery
Evaluation
of fire site rehabilitation methods in terms
of controlling
erosion and sedimentation
Dave Scott
Dave Scott is a forest hydrologist with a general interest in
the hydrological effects of forest management, fire and land use
change. He moved from a research background in South Africa to
the Okanagan University College 3 years ago to take up an FRBC
research chair in Watershed Management. In British Columbia Dave
is concentrating on studies of the effects of wildfire on soil
hydraulic properties and catchment hydrology, and on streamflow
generating mechanisms in forested watersheds.
