Fisheries Inventory Home
This site contains standards and data-entry tools for freshwater fish and fish habitat inventories, digital base maps and fish and fish habitat database queries. It is primarily aimed at fisheries inventory contractors, government biologists and fisheries researchers.
The general public is encouraged to use our map display tool, FishWizard, to access some of the same data available at this site.
The four main Fisheries Inventory topics are:
FISS — The Fisheries Information Summary System is a catalogue of fisheries information suitable for planning purposes.
Survey Data — Database queries that return subsets of survey data for lakes, streams and wetlands, including Bathymetric maps.
Watershed Atlas Maps and Documents — Digital maps for display of fisheries data, identification of waterbodies and stream network analysis, and documentation.
Methods — Fish and Fish Habitat data collection and reporting standards documents, and associated data entry and reporting tools.
