Fish Data Submission

This online process allows you to submit fisheries field information for inclusion in provincial databases and catalogues.

Please follow the steps below.

STEP 1.

Connect to the following FTP site and upload your report, map and database files to directory.

ftp://ftpfsh.env.gov.bc.ca/pub/incoming/fish_data_submissions/

NOTE: If you experience any problems uploading your files to this site, please stop the submission process and send an email indicating the nature of the problem to: fishdatasub@gov.bc.ca.

STEP 2.

Complete the following form.

Please note that all the fields on this form are mandatory and are required to:

Track the files that were submitted to the FTP site;
Deal with any problems associated with the files or the data they contain; and,
Record that data was submitted in accordance with the requirements of the Fish Collection Permit.

This information will only be used by the Ministry of Environment for the purposes of validating and checking the submitted sampling and report information. This information will not be sold or distributed to any other party.
