Water In-Season Change Effective Dates

The following 8 lakes in the Beaver Creek drainage:

  • Beaver Lake
  • Chambers Lake
  • Joan Lake
  • Lake George
  • McCauley Lake
  • Opheim Lake
  • Robert Lake
  • Unnamed lake known locally as “Rye” Lake (located approx. 1.6 km downstream of Joan Lake)

Closed to all bass fishing (an illegally introduced exotic species) June 11, 2008
Fraser River watershed
(downstream of and including Williams Lake River)

White Sturgeon Conservation Licence required to fish for white sturgeon

Patenaude Lake Broodstock lake permanently CLOSED to all fishing June 18, 2009
Bridge Lake Lake Trout daily quota = 1 Dec. 1 – Sept. 30
Tyee Lake Kokanee daily quota = 10 Through Dec. 31
Horsefly River from Quesnel Lake to Horsefly River Falls CLOSED to fishing Aug. 5 through Aug. 27, 2010
