2013 Harvest Questionnaire

Dear Hunter:

You have been selected to participate in the 2013 Hunter Survey to provide information about your hunting activity in BC. This information is used to guide development of future hunting regulations and to ensure wildlife is sustainably managed.

For reference, information about General Open Season hunting can be found in the 2012-2014 Hunting and Trapping Regulations Synopsis while information about Limited Entry Hunting can be found in the 2013-2014 Limited Entry Hunting Regulations Synopsis.

Please report only your own hunting activity, including any effort you spent while supervising a youth or initiation hunter – record their harvest as your own. It is important that you complete the entire survey, regardless of whether you hunted or killed each species.

This year we have made two important changes to the survey form:

  1. If you have been selected for Moose; a new section to report Spike-Fork Bull Moose harvest has been added to the Moose portion of the survey.
  2. If you have been selected for Wolf; new instructions have been added to the Wolf portion of the survey.

If you have problems with completing this online survey, please fill out and return the paper version you received in the mail.

All information submitted is kept confidential and is used only for wildlife management planning.

Thank you in advance for your participation.

Sincerely,
Fish, Wildlife and Habitat Management Branch,
BC Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations.

Please do NOT use the “Escape” button or “Back” button while completing the survey. Doing so will clear your information, bring you back to this page, and will not submit your information.
