Wildlife Act Review

Wildlife Act Review Process

How to Get Involved:

The Wildlife Act Review has brought forward a range of suggestions and problems identified since the Wildlife Act last received a major re-write in 1982.

These ideas have come from a wide range of sources, including:  First Nations; landowners; commercial operators; hunters and anglers; other government agencies, and the public.

The Discussion Paper outlines the current content of the Act as well as some of the problems, opportunities and suggestions for improving the Act.  The Paper provides a high level overview of the problems and possible solutions for different areas of the Act, in order to encourage discussion about the Act.

Please Note: Submissions will now be received through July 15, 2007.

There are a number of ways to provide your insights, and all of these will be posted to the website.
