Kootenay Region Angling Regulations
Consultation
|
|
This site gives anglers an opportunity to provide input on angling regulations for Kootenay-Boundary Region waters. The Ministry of Forests Lands and Natural Resource Operations has adopted a 2 year angling regulation review and synopsis publication cycle, as well as new regional and provincial consultation procedures. Current regulations are effective for 2 years, from April 1, 2011 through March 31, 2013.
You can find proposals under consideration for angling regulation changes at the Ministry’s Angling, Hunting and Trapping Engagement Website.
We encourage anglers to send us their thoughts and recommendations any time. Let us know where our management approaches meet your expectations and where we can improve. If you have concerns about conservation of a fish population, please take a moment to make us aware. All comments will be considered as we look toward possible changes to the regulations in 2013 and future years.
Please use this Regulations comment form to outline your thoughts, and submit the form and other comments by email to: fishing.surveys@gov.bc.ca.
Visit the BC sport fishing regulations to obtain the latest synopsis and related information, including in-season changes.
