Welcome to the terrain listserv! The purpose of the listserv is to exchange information and engage in discussions relating to BC terrain information. The Ministry of Environment provincial terrain information specialists will be using this listserv to inform subscribers about changes to standards/guidelines/procedures, newly available data/information, education and professional development opportunities, and initiatives related to terrain information. As a member of the listserv, you may also send out information to other subscribers. Messages to the listserv must adhere to the soil/terrain listserv policy found at: http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/terrain/listservpolicy.html . Failure to adhere to the policy may result in removal from the listserv. Messages that do not conform to the purpose of the list may be rejected at the discretion of the list owner. To unsubscribe to the listserv e-mail majordomo@majordomo.env.gov.bc.ca. Type in the body of the e-mail: unsubscribe terrain-list end (the command must be in all lower case letters) Please send suggestions, complaints and report misuse to soilterrain@victoria1.gov.bc.ca. Note: Please continue to use soilterrain@victoria1.gov.bc.ca to make comments, suggestions, inquiries, and information requests directly to the MoE terrain specialists. Using terrain-list
To post a message to all the list members, send email to terrain-list@majordomo.env.gov.bc.ca. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to terrain-list
Subscribe to terrain-list by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
