Road Directions to Sawmill Lake

1. follow Highway 97 north from Prince George

2. drive 10.9 km from Pacific Western Brewery to Chief Lake Road (1.8 km north of McDonalds)

3. turn left onto Chief Lake Road and drive 12.6 km to major paved intersection

4. turn right towards Chief Lake and drive 12.2 km on paved road to the 200 Forest Service Road

5. turn right onto 200 Road/Teardrop-Chief Lake Forest Service Road

6. drive 8.0 km to intersection, proceed straight ahead on 200 Road

7. drive 7.5 km, crossing gas line to fork in road (just past 215 km marker)

8. turn right staying on 200 Road and drive 2.4 km to major intersection, proceed straight ahead on 200 Road

9. drive 12.9 km to intersection, proceed straight ahead on 200 Road

10. drive 3.1 km to Sawmill Lake Forest Recreation Site

11. turn right and drive to lake

12. good access for all trucks
