New Antifreeze Regulation Will Help B.C. Pets
Craig Daniell, BC SPCA CEO and special guest Gizmo joined Minsiter Penner in introducing British Columbia’s new Antifreeze Regulation. Under the new regulation, B.C. has become the first Canadian jurisdiction to mandate the addition of a bittering agent to ethylene glycol antifreeze. This is expected to deter ingestion and protect animals and small children from ingesting the highly poisonous product.
