Manual Snow Survey Data

Manual Snow Surveys are conducted eight times per year and the data are posted to this site as soon as practicable after the data has been processed. The data are posted by region. The next posting of manual snow survey data will be January 1, 2006. Note that normals in the data tables are 1971-2000 normal values.

Snow course locations are displayed on maps and listed in the Snow Course Network tables.

Not all snow courses are measured at each sampling date. The Manual Snow Sampling Schedule is available.

Data previously published electronically (since 1997), including this year, are available through the Archives. Also available through this page are all historic manual snow survey measurements, and archived Automatic Snow Pillow data.
