Daily Water Use Per Person in British Columbia

Average water use per person has been decreasing in B.C.

    Water use patterns in B.C. show a decrease in the estimated municipal water use per person from 465 litres/person/day in 1991 to 426 litres in 2004.

  • This is still above the Canadian national average of 329 litres, putting B.C. in the top bracket of water consuming provinces.
