British Columbia various groups, organizations and agencies
are coming together to address environmental issues. Due
to the nature of non-point source water pollution, it is
often a key component of these efforts even though it may
not be the primary issue of concern.
Increasingly,
communities have initiated projects to restore streams,
beaches and watersheds, to organize volunteers to monitor
water quality, and to educate and exchange information among
