1) The purpose of the Saanich Inlet Study Advisory Committee is to provide advice in the form of information, concerns, recommendations and comments to the Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks regarding the methods used and the various interim and draft products produced under the Saanich Inlet Study. The advisory Committee is primarily intended to provide representatives of First Nations, non-government groups, and other stakeholders input to, and information about, the Saanich Inlet Study.
2) The Director of the Water Quality Branch will be the chair. The Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks will invite several representatives from various groups and agencies, including:
3) The Advisory Committee will meet as frequently as determined by committee consensus.
4) The Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks will present to the committee regular progress updates regarding the Saanich Inlet Study.
5) The Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks will provide to the committee for review and comment proposed work plans and draft reports prepared under the Saanich Inlet Study and by the Technical Committee.
