General Survey Template

Most inventories will use this template, particularly those regarding rare and endangered species. Some examples of inventories that should use the General Survey template are:

• call playback studies
• radar surveys
• winter range track counts
• mark/recapture studies (DNA-based and conventional)
• wolf and cougar track counts
• bat mist netting

In this template, each row can be used to record data for an individual, its behaviour, sex, or age. You can also record animal sign, habitat features as well as demographic information (total count, males, females, juveniles).
