Submission Requirements


For an inventory project to be considered "complete" we require:
  • completed project registration and survey definition (see Submit Data )
  • a report
  • data formatted in a standard template
  • shape files of the study area boundary
  • shape files for any custom sampling units (blocks or transects) if any are used

Some reports may be submitted alone if appropriate and we will accept reports and data without the shape files describing study areas or sampling units. Most inventory projects should include all of the above components.

All data must have a report. Reports are required because they provide important metadata about the project.

Other supporting documents such as photos, graphics, analysis templates may be submitted as well.
