Marbled Murrelet Management Strategy for Clayoquot Sound

Abstract:
This publication describes the research and inventory process (using an ecosystem-based management approach) that led to the development of this management strategy and the systematic identification of Marbled Murrelet reserves in British Columbia. It builds on earlier work published on the first four planning unit reserves described in Multi-scaled Studies of Populations, Distribution and Habitat Associations of Marbled Murrelets in Clayoquot Sound (PDF 3.48MB).
