Maps
Abstract:
This
document presents a series of nine 1:100,000 based thematic
maps that collectively describe the physical nature of
Vancouver Island. The nine maps are: (1) Vancouver Island
Bedrock Geology, (2) Vancouver Island Surficial Geology,
(3) Vancouver Island Coastal Geomorphology, (4) Vancouver
Island Fluvial Processes, (5) Vancouver Island Gullying,
(6) Vancouver Island Snow Avalanche, (7) Vancouver Island
Karst Potential, (8) Vancouver Island Wetlands and Organic
Soils, and (9) Vancouver Island Mass Wasting. The extended
legends describe the context around each of the maps and
give more detail to the legends. |
